Chiara Mengozzi

Chiara Mengozzi (1981) insegna Letteratura italiana e Teoria della letteratura all’Università Carolina Praga ed è ricercatrice presso il CEFRES di Praga (Centre français de recherche en sciences sociales). Nel 2015 è stata visiting assistant professor all’Università Hosei di Tokyo. Le sue pubblicazioni includono una monografia intitolata Narrazioni contese. Vent’anni di scritture italiane della migrazione (Roma, Carocci, 2013) e diversi articoli sulle letterature migranti e postcoloniali, le intersezioni tra letteratura e filosofia, la World Literature, le teorie della ricezione e gli Animal Studies. Attualmente sta curando due monografie collettive in inglese, intitolate rispettivamente Outside the Anthropological Machine. Crossing the Human-Animal Divide and Other Exit Strategies e The Czech Reception of Romance Literatures After 1989 : Circulation, Canonization, Translations.

Chiara Mengozzi (1981) is Assistant Professor of Italian Literature and Literary Theory at Charles University in Prague and researcher at CEFRES in Prague (French Research Center in Social Sciences). In 2015 she was invited to teach at Hosei University in Tokyo. Her publications include various articles on postcolonial and migrant literatures, animal studies, intersection between literature and philosophy, world literature and reception theory. She is the author of an Italian monograph entitled Narrazioni contese. Vent’anni di scritture italiane della migrazione (Roma, Carocci, 2013). She is currently editing two collective monographs, respectively entitled Outside the Anthropological Machine. Crossing the Human-Animal Divide and Other Exit Strategies and The Czech Reception of Romance Literatures After 1989 : Circulation, Canonization, Translations.
