Hanna B. Hölling

Hanna B. Hölling is Research Professor at Bern University of the Arts, Senior Fellow at Collegium Helveticum/ETH Zurich, and Honorary Fellow in the History of Art Department at University College London. Her research, teaching, and advising focus on art history and theory, media and material culture, museology, conservation, and post-1960s American and European art. She has authored and edited eight books, including Paik’s Virtual Archive (University of California Press, 2017), Revisions (Bard Graduate Center, 2015), Object—Event—Performance (Bard Graduate Center, 2022), Performance: The Ethics and the Politics of Conservation and Care (Vol. 1, 2023 & Vol. 2, 2024, Routledge, with J. Pelta Feldman and E. Magnin), and Activating Fluxus, Expanding Conservation (forthcoming 2026, Routledge, with A. Wielocha and J. Ellis).
