Raphaël Yung Mariano

Dopo aver studiato Estetica del cinema all’Università Paris 3 Sorbonne-Nouvelle, Raphaël Yung Mariano ha pubblicato il libro Scènes de la vie familiale. Ingmar Bergman (L’Harmattan, 2017). Conferenziere presso la Cinémathèque française e la Maison Européenne de la Photo, è anche dottorando e docente di Estetica e Scienze dell’Arte presso l’Università Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis. La sua ricerca si concentra sulla dimensione esistenziale della fotografia. Ha scritto articoli su Oscar Munoz, Denis Roche, Roman Opalka, da una prospettiva sempre a cavallo tra cinema e fotografia.

After studying film aesthetics at the University Paris 3 Sorbonne-Nouvelle, Raphaël Yung Mariano published the book Scènes de la vie familiale. Ingmar Bergman, published by L’Harmattan in 2017. Currently lecturer at the Cinémathèque française and the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, he is also PhD student and lecturer at the University Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis in Aesthetics and Art Science. His research focuses on the existential dimension of photography. He has written articles on Oscar Munoz, Denis Roche, Roman Opalka, always from a perspective on the threshold of cinema and photography.
