Cristina Savettieri è Alexander von Humboldt Forschungsstipendiatin presso la Freie Universität Berlin. Tra i suoi interessi di ricerca i rapporti tra tragedia e romanzo nella modernità, le teorie del tragico, le forme dell’identità narrativa nel modernismo. Recentemente ha pubblicato saggi su Svevo, Anna Maria Ortese, il romanzo tragico tra Otto e Novecento.

Cristina Savettieri is Alexander von Humboldt Forschungsstipendiatin in Comparative Literature at Freie Universität Berlin. Among her research interests are the relationship between tragedy and the novel in the modern age, theories of the tragic, the problem of narrative identity in modernist fiction. She has recently published essays on Italo Svevo, Anna Maria Ortese, and the tragic novel in the 19th and 20th century.
