Arianna Frattali

Arianna Frattali, già dottore di ricerca in discipline teatrali e professore a contratto presso l’Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano e assegnista di ricerca presso l’Università degli Studi di Salerno, è studiosa principalmente delle arti della scena fra il diciassettesimo e diciottesimo secolo, focalizzandosi spesso sulla drammaturgia musicale, pur aprendosi a frequenti incursioni sulle intersezioni fra teatro e media dal ventesimo secolo ai giorni nostri e alle intersezioni fra le arti in genere. È autrice di monografie ed edizioni commentate, fra cui Santo Genet da Genet per la Compagnia della Fortezza (Pisa, ETS 2019) e Testo e performance dal Settecento al Duemila (Milan, EDUCatt, 2012) – e numerosi saggi relativi al teatro del diciottesimo secolo, alla figura di Vittorio Gassman fra teatro e cinema e al teatro performativo italiano ed internazionale (Armando Punzo e la Compagnia della Fortezza di Volterra, Jan Fabre, Robert Wilson).

Arianna Frattali, former PhD in theatrical disciplines, adjunct professor at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan and research fellow at the University of Salerno for three years longer – is mainly a researcher who studies performative arts between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, often focusing on musical dramaturgy, while opening up to frequent forays into the intersections between theater and media from the twentieth century to the present day and to the intersections between the arts, in general. She is the author of monographs and annotated editions, including Santo Genet da Genet for the Compagnia della Fortezza (Pisa, ETS 2019) and Text and performance from the eighteenth century to the two thousand (Milan, EDUCatt, 2012) – and numerous essays relating to the theater of eighteenth century, to the figure of Vittorio Gassman between theater and cinema and to the Italian and international performative theater (Armando Punzo and the Compagnia della Fortezza di Volterra, Jan Fabre, Robert Wilson).
